Forget traditional BaitBoat remotes! The Carplounge Autopilot utilizes your Android tablet or phone for effortless control. Download the free app from the Google Play Store and connect it to your RT7 & RT4 V4 BaitBoat via Bluetooth using a transmitter box.

Enjoy intuitive touchscreen navigation in manual mode, mirroring the functionality of a standard remote. Real-time boat position, route, and orientation (including a compass!) are displayed on an interactive map. Use the built-in GPS to save and name promising fishing spots (e.g., "jetty left," "spot 1," "home") identified via your echo sounder.

Autopilot mode unleashes the true power of the system. Create complex routes by selecting saved points and assigning actions at each waypoint (opening left/right hatches, releasing bait from left/right dispensers, activating lights, etc.).

Imagine this: 1) Navigate to "Sandbank," open the right hopper upon arrival; 2) Proceed to "Spot 2," open the left hopper; 3) Return to your fishing spot and activate the lights. Your boat will autonomously execute this route, and you can load it for the next deployment. The system supports virtually unlimited spots and routes.

Precise route guidance is ensured through advanced sensors (position, acceleration), GPS, and compass technology, achieving accuracy within 30cm for 90% of routes. Smart line tension management prevents line tangles, even when deploying two rods simultaneously to different locations. The system detects line tension and adjusts the boat's course accordingly.

While the autopilot replaces the standard remote, you can still connect a remote control for alternative operation. The app is optimized for 10-inch tablets but compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled Android device.
