Embark on a thrilling journey to Mexico with Hippo as she celebrates the vibrant holidays of Dia de los Muertos and Halloween! The adventure begins during Dia de los Muertos, a time when Mexico bursts into a kaleidoscope of bright colors, adorned with sugar skulls, lively music, and animated skeletons. Far from being scary, these "monsters" are beloved local characters, celebrating life and honoring the departed.
Unlike the spooky fun of Halloween, where the focus is on scaring strangers, collecting sweets, and sharing ghost stories, Dia de los Muertos is a heartfelt tribute to ancestors and loved ones who have passed away. Rooted in the ancient traditions of the Maya and Aztecs, this holiday sees families setting up ofrendas, or altars, in their homes. Hippo's family gathers around a grand, ancient tree in the backyard to create their ofrenda, but an unexpected twist sends the children tumbling into a mysterious hole, landing them in the realm of the dead. From this moment, a series of enigmatic and thrilling adventures unfolds, filled with puzzles, legends, and the vibrant culture of Mexico.

Nice little game for the season! The graphics are really vibrant and capture the Day of the Dead spirit well. Gameplay is simple but fun, though I wish there were more levels or challenges. Good time-killer for Halloween vibes! 👻

As a casual gamer, I found this journey through Mexico quite charming. The colors and music capture the Day of the Dead vibe well, though the gameplay feels a bit repetitive after a while. Still, it's a nice way to experience the holiday themes. ⭐⭐
