8 Games to Exit Xbox Game Pass in May 2025

Microsoft has officially revealed the list of games set to leave the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight titles are scheduled to depart, including beloved titles such as Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

The Xbox Game Pass is a comprehensive gaming subscription service available across Xbox and PC platforms. It allows users to stream games directly to smart devices and consoles, access hundreds of high-quality titles, and enjoy select new releases on day one—depending on the chosen subscription tier. From this expansive library, the following eight games will no longer be accessible after May 15:

🎮 Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May 2025:

• Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
• Chants of Sennaar
• Dune: Spice Wars
• Hauntii
• Jurassic World Evolution 2
• Little Kitty, Big City
• Planet of Lana

Microsoft typically announces the next wave of incoming titles shortly after outgoing games are removed, so subscribers should expect news regarding Wave 2 of the May lineup soon.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received an exciting update: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without needing to download them first.

As announced via an official Xbox Wire post, Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog—as well as “select games they own”—on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles through cloud streaming. While this functionality was previously available on PCs, smartphones, smart TVs, and Meta Quest headsets, it’s now making its debut on console hardware.

If you're disappointed by the recent announcement that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed to May 2026, and you’re craving some open-world action, don’t forget that GTA V Enhanced Edition is now available on both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. This marks the first time the game has appeared on PC Game Pass—an exciting opportunity for fans to dive into the world of Los Santos at no additional cost.
