Before we dive in, it's important to note that every game listed here is compatible with the Switch 2 due to backward compatibility. While they haven't received free upgrades like some first-party Nintendo titles, they may still benefit from performance improvements thanks to the new hardware's enhanced power.

One of the standout deals is undoubtedly Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1, which has been slashed by more than half its original price to just $16.99. Given that it includes iconic titles like the first three Metal Gear Solid games, you're essentially paying only a few dollars per game. It's an offer we think even Big Boss would appreciate.

Continuing with other collections and remasters, the highly anticipated Suikoden I & II HD Remaster is available for just $29.99, marking a 40% discount, while the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is priced at $34.99 after a 42% price reduction.

Looking for more JRPGs? You're in luck. The Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition is available with a 40% discount. This collection features the first six Final Fantasy games with enhanced 2D pixel graphics, a reorchestrated soundtrack, a modernized user interface, and even includes a sticker sheet.

We highly recommend the indie sensation Balatro, and its physical edition is now available for $19.99. This addictive roguelite deckbuilder, infused with poker mechanics, is perfectly suited for portable play on either the Switch or its successor.

No list of Switch games would be complete without some cozy titles. You can find Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life for just $19.99 and the Hello Kitty Island Adventure - Deluxe Edition at $43.99, representing discounts of 33% and 27% respectively.

Finally, there are two Turtle-powered adventures on sale. TMNT: Mutants Unleashed has a 55% discount, reducing its price to $17.99, while Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is available for $22.99 after a 34% price cut. Now that's a shell of a deal!
