Blue Archive Launches Highlander Railroad Runaway Update

• Three new playable characters are now available
• Team up to investigate the case of the vanished train
• An all-new railroad construction minigame has arrived

Blue Archive is rolling out a major new update, transporting you directly into the frantic world of the Highlander Railroad Academy. The 'Highlander Railroad Runaway Incident: And the Train Disappeared' update is now live on iOS and Android. This release brings new students to recruit, a story event centered on a mysterious train disappearance, and a brand-new minigame to master.

Leading the charge in this update are three students: Hikari, Nozomi, and Aoba. Hikari excels as a support unit, using her skills to reduce the cost of powerful EX abilities for allies. Nozomi delivers a heavy-hitting linear attack that gains strength with consecutive uses. Players can obtain Aoba for free by clearing the Central Control Centre Planning Office stage.

The core of the update is the 'Highlander Railroad Railway Incident' story event. Join the academy's students as they race against time to locate a missing train and complete a critical transport operation. Valuable and exclusive rewards await those who solve the mystery.

In addition to the story, a new puzzle-focused railroad construction minigame is ready for play. Earn enough Highlander Stickers to unlock this activity, where solving track layout puzzles grants special currency to boost your progression. The update also enhances the Archive Recruitment system, now allowing you to select a specific target student for the first time.
