Company of Heroes debuts multiplayer skirmish mode for iOS port

Company of Heroes, the acclaimed World War II real-time strategy (RTS) game from Relic Entertainment and ported by Feral Interactive, is finally getting multiplayer! A recent iOS beta update introduces the highly anticipated skirmish mode.

Relic Entertainment is known for the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War series, but many also cherish their Company of Heroes franchise. The original mobile version lacked multiplayer, a significant omission now rectified.

The iOS Company of Heroes now features an online skirmish mode beta. Players can battle as various factions, including the Americans and Germans, and those from the Opposing Fronts expansion (UK and Panzer Elite).

Company of Heroes masterfully blends realistic warfare with engaging RTS gameplay. Superior units aren't a guaranteed win; tactical errors can quickly decimate your forces.

While I've always preferred AI opponents in RTS due to the skill level of some human players, this multiplayer addition is fantastic news for those who missed it in the polished iOS version.
