The latest Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation PRISM trailer features romance and tropical setting

Koei Tecmo has unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming romance game, *Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation PRISM*, which expands on the beloved Team Ninja fighting game series. Scheduled for release on March 27, the game will be available on PS5, PS4, and PC. A special "global version" will be accessible for purchase in Asia, complete with English text support.

In *Venus Vacation PRISM*, players can indulge in a variety of mini-games, switch character personas, and soak up the tropical island ambiance. The developers have promised numerous opportunities to forge relationships with the game's heroines and dive deep into a romantic narrative. This title represents an experimental shift for fans of the Dead or Alive series, offering a fresh gaming experience while preserving the franchise's distinctive style.

Despite the innovative approach, Koei Tecmo continues to enforce strict content policies. Annually, the publisher removes approximately 200-300 doujinshi and 2,000-3,000 images featuring the fighting game characters. This action is taken in response to the fan-created "adult" content, which, although a testament to the series' popularity, does not align with the developers' vision. The Dead or Alive series is celebrated for its engaging gameplay and charming heroines, often depicted in swimwear during battles, which has spurred a significant amount of fan art.
