Starting this week, Dell is rolling out an incredible deal on the Dell Tower Plus gaming PC, now equipped with the powerhouse GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card, available for just $1,649.99 with free shipping. This beast of a machine is designed to handle games at up to 4K resolution, delivering stunning visuals and smooth gameplay. The Dell Tower Plus comes loaded with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 CPU, a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a speedy 1TB M.2 SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265 boasts a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, 20 cores, and a hefty 36MB cache, ensuring top-notch performance. For an additional $100, you can opt for the more powerful Ultra 7 265K model, which comes with an upgrade to "Advanced" air cooling, featuring a more robust tower heatsink fan. It's worth noting that upgrading to a Core i9 CPU isn't necessary for gaming, as performance is predominantly GPU-bound, especially at higher resolutions. The system is powered by a reliable 750W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super shines across all resolutions, from 1080p to 4K. At 1080p and 1440p, expect to hit 144fps or more in most games, making it an ideal match for FHD or QHD monitors with high refresh rates. While 4K demands more from the system, you can still enjoy most games at a solid 60fps. Compared to the newer Blackwell cards, the RTX 4070 Ti Super outperforms the RTX 5070 by a significant margin and is only about 10%-15% less powerful than the RTX 5070 Ti. It also matches the VRAM capacity of the RTX 5070 Ti and 5080, though it uses GDDR6 instead of the newer GDDR7.

This costs hundreds less than an RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC

While the RTX 5070 Ti may offer slightly better performance, the cost of a prebuilt gaming PC with this GPU is much higher. The cheapest RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC available on Amazon is priced over $2,000, meaning you'd be spending an extra $500+ for just a 10% performance boost.
