Diablo 4 players have uncovered an intriguing yet problematic infinite damage build that's causing server lag. Dive into the details of this build and explore the community's concerns about the recent Berserk collaboration.
The latest season of Diablo 4 introduces new seasonal boss powers, which, when combined effectively, can create an infinite damage build that significantly slows down the servers. YouTuber Macrobioboi demonstrated this powerful build in a video posted on May 9, showcasing its ability to obliterate a room full of enemies using specific boss powers and the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect.
To achieve this, players must equip the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect on their gear, which inflicts a Vulnerable status effect on enemies, enhancing damage and making the effect last until the enemy's demise.
The Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power typically stuns enemies and removes the Vulnerable effect. However, due to the Vampiric Curse's unique properties, the stun effect repeats without removing Vulnerable. Adding Varshan's Life Steal boss power, which deals substantial damage every time a boss power is activated, completes the build.
This combination results in numerous calculations, overwhelming the servers and causing lag. As noted by YouTuber wudijo, the screen is flooded with skills and abilities, leaving enemies perpetually stunned. He remarked, "There are a lot of calculations going on, it's very understandable that this is a laggy build."
Blizzard Entertainment has yet to address this resource-intensive build, allowing players to continue exploiting it, albeit at the cost of increased server lag.
Diablo 4's collaboration with the iconic manga Berserk introduces a range of cosmetics and items inspired by the series. However, the high prices associated with these items have fans questioning their value.
Players can earn Behelits through gameplay and use them to unlock free cosmetics from the Berserk Reliquary, including:
The collaboration's premium offerings, however, come at a steep cost, requiring Diablo 4’s premium currency, Platinum:
Each premium skin costs around $28, which is nearly half the price of the base game. Purchasing all items would require a $150 investment, equivalent to a 15,000 Platinum bundle with an additional 3,500 Platinum.
While this pricing model aligns with Diablo 4's previous collaboration with World of Warcraft, it raises concerns about the affordability of future crossover events. Despite the high quality of the Berserk sets, many fans are hesitant to spend such a significant amount.
