Locate Kyoto, the central city, and find Honpoji Temple on its east side. From there, head west to find Tamao hiding in his brewery. Listen to the staff to learn he's refusing to come out. To draw him out, smash all the barrels in the courtyard. Once he emerges, confront him and move on to your next target.

Merchant Kanta

As you delve deeper into the Iron Hand, you'll find that not all merchants are willingly part of the syndicate. Merchant Kanta is one such case, located in the Mouth of Seta in the Omi region. You have the option to attack him, but a better approach is to use the Observe mechanic to gather vital intel revealing he's being coerced. By sparing his life, Kanta can move on to become a captain in Imai Sokun's merchant fleet.

Merchant Ginroku

Ginroku specializes in selling rare delicacies to wealthy families around Miyazu Bay. Head to the Tamba region, specifically southwest of Miyazu Castle, across the bridge. You can choose to eliminate him for his involvement with the Iron Hand, or search nearby huts to find an important letter that could spare his life. If spared, Ginroku can work with the real House Imai and gain access to affluent clients in Sakai Port.

Merchant Kin-no-suke

Kin-no-suke's ostentatious displays of wealth raise suspicions, especially since he hires bandits to steal from others to grow his business. You'll find him just east of the Trading Port in Obama, Wakasa. Surrounded by bodyguards, you can use stealth tactics like smoke bombs and assassinations to take him down effectively.

Iron Hand

Once you've dealt with the other merchants, you'll uncover the location of the Iron Hand, the syndicate's leader. He's located in the highly secure Fukuchiyama Castle in Tamba, near the region's center. Approach from the south side of the castle walls. Expect a tougher fight as the Iron Hand and his guards put up significant resistance. Clear the guards strategically before confronting the Iron Hand. After defeating him, return to Imai Sokun to claim your rewards.
