Exciting developments are on the horizon for fans of *The Lion King* at Disneyland Paris, as new images, details, and a construction start date of Fall 2025 have been revealed for the much-anticipated ride. According to the Disney Parks Blog, this groundbreaking attraction will be a centerpiece of the reimagined Walt Disney Studios Park, soon to be known as Disney Adventure World. This new water ride will immerse guests in the iconic scenes of the 1994 classic, featuring a thrilling 52-foot drop that's just two inches taller than Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

The Lion King-themed land will be expansive, boasting a majestic 120-foot-high Pride Rock, along with a variety of dining options, shopping experiences, and character meet-and-greets. A newly released concept image showcases Audio-Animatronics of young Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa enjoying a feast in a lush jungle setting, offering a glimpse into the immersive world guests will explore.

Scheduled to open after the grand opening of World of Frozen in 2026, The Lion King ride is a key component of Disney Adventure World, which will expand the park's footprint twofold. Alongside this attraction, guests can look forward to other thrilling additions, including the Raiponce Tangled Spin ride with Mandy Moore reprising her role as Rapunzel, and the first-ever *Up*-themed attraction, a "spinning carousel" offering panoramic views of the park's stunning scenery.

Another highlight of Disney Adventure World will be the World Premiere entrance, set to open on May 15, 2025. This glamorous new entry point aims to recreate the feel of a Hollywood premiere, complemented by the World Premiere Plaza. Inspired by Broadway and the West End, the plaza will feature theaters hosting shows such as *TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure*, *Mickey and the Magician*, and *Frozen: A Musical Invitation*.
