The contest is structured in several stages to ensure every entry receives fair consideration. Here’s the timeline:

Building Phase

This phase runs until August 6th at 6:00 AM EST, with the option to edit submissions until the end of the day on August 7th.

Expert Review Phase

After all entries are submitted, a panel of LEGO experts will review them and select five finalists. These five designs will proceed to the Fan Vote starting August 25th.

Voting Phase

LEGO Ideas members can cast one vote between August 25th and September 8th to determine the ultimate winner.

Winner Announcement

Results will be published on LEGO Ideas on September 25th. Winners will be contacted via email to provide their LEGO ID, and the prizes will be shipped accordingly.
