The day-one patch for *Monster Hunter Wilds* has arrived, and it's a hefty download at 18GB. This initial major update was first rolled out on PlayStation 5, but players on other platforms can expect it soon. Although Capcom hasn't released detailed patch notes yet, the community is buzzing with theories about what this large update might include.

Many fans speculate that the patch will introduce high-resolution textures to the game. Review copies previously lacked these high-quality textures, which are essential for the game's visual splendor. The substantial size of the update supports this theory, as high-resolution textures demand significant storage space.
