Starting January 2026, Sony will phase out PS4 titles from PlayStation Plus Essentials and Game Catalog to concentrate exclusively on PS5 content.

"Our transition to PS5 means PS4 games will become supplemental offerings rather than core benefits," Sony explained. While previously claimed monthly games remain accessible, catalog titles will stay available until their scheduled removal.

"We remain committed to enhancing PlayStation Plus with exclusive discounts, online multiplayer, cloud saves, and other premium features," Sony continued. "As we prioritize PS5, members can expect exciting new titles added monthly."
