Moltres & Origin Formes Hit Pokémon Go in August

• Go Pass: August debuts on August 5th featuring Moltres
• Ultra Unlock: Origin Raid Day arrives August 10th with Dialga and Palkia encounters
• Exclusive Web Store bundles provide early perks, account boosts, and special items

Pokémon Go players have an action-packed August ahead, with major updates preceding the Cosy Companions and Munchlax Hatch Day events. Two flagship features - the Go Pass: August and Ultra Unlock: Origin Raid Day - are launching shortly.

The Pokémon Go Pass returns August 5th starring Moltres, succeeding June's Articuno release. Players will accumulate Go Points to progress through tiers, unlocking rewards including Stardust, XP, and Poké Balls. Opting for the Deluxe version delivers enhanced benefits like a Super Incubator, premium encounters, and valuable items including Lure Modules and Battle Passes.

Completing Rank 75 on the Deluxe track grants a Lucky Trinket - a special item allowing immediate Lucky Friend status with one chosen player, bypassing Best Friend requirements. This single-use item expires September 7th, so strategic trading is advised.

On August 10th, the Ultra Unlock: Origin Raid Day showcases Dialga and Palkia in their Origin Formes. Shiny variants may appear, complete with signature moves Roar of Time and Spacial Rend. These powerful attacks activate unique Adventure Effects that can pause timers or extend encounter ranges for 24 hours.

For complimentary event bonuses, check this month's active Pokémon Go redemption codes below.

The events offer up to 14 Raid Passes total, enhanced Rare Candy XL rewards, and increased XP/Stardust from raids. A $4.99 event ticket unlocks additional bonuses, while the Ultra Ticket Box on the Pokémon Go Web Store includes a complimentary Premium Battle Pass. The Go Pass Deluxe edition is also available through the Web Store for players seeking maximum benefits.
