Competitive players can earn encounters with rare species like Frigibax, Morpeko, and Dreepy, plus opportunities to catch Pikachu Libre. An additional free Timed Research track rewards Elite TMs and Rare Candy XL at 400 and 500 victories respectively.
The Cup rotation includes fan favorites like Sunshine Cup and Fossil Cup alongside regional variants like Hisui Cup and the small-size focused Element Cup: Little Edition. Each format imposes unique CP limits and type restrictions, ensuring fresh metagame challenges every week.
