Pokémon Community Day: Fuecoco Arrives in March

Pokémon GO's March 2025 Community Day Lineup and Beloved Buddies Event Details

The March 2025 Pokémon GO Community Day extravaganza begins with Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon! This article covers the March Community Day events, future Community Day dates, and the rewards awaiting trainers in the Beloved Buddies event.

March Community Day: Fuecoco Takes the Spotlight

Fuecoco is the star of the first March Community Day, appearing more frequently in the wild on March 8th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time). Shiny Fuecoco will also have an increased appearance rate.

Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) allows it to learn the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn, but only within one week of the event. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song without time restrictions.

A special Timed Research event offers a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background. Completing the research further boosts your chances of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco! This Timed Research is available until March 15th, 2025, at 10:00 PM (local time).

A separate Community Day Special Research ticket ($2.00) provides three Fuecoco encounters (all with Seasonal Special Backgrounds), along with Battle Passes and Rare Candies. This ticket is giftable to Great Friends or higher.

Upcoming Community Day Events

Pokémon GO has announced Community Day dates extending through May:

• Saturday, March 8, 2025
• Saturday, March 22, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
• Sunday, April 27, 2025
• Sunday, May 11, 2025
• Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Community Day Classic)

Community Day Classic events feature previously featured Pokémon, offering a chance to catch Pokémon from past events. The featured Pokémon for the other dates remain unannounced.

Beloved Buddies Event: Candela or Arlo?

The Beloved Buddies event, featuring Dhelmise, includes Timed Research with two branching paths: one focusing on friendship with your Buddy Pokémon and Candela (Team Valor), the other on catching Pokémon and battling Arlo (Team GO Rocket).

Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls, Remoraid, and Mantine encounters. Choosing a path unlocks different rewards:

Candela Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

Arlo Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.

Choose your path based on your preferences! Further details on the Beloved Buddies event are available in a separate article.
