Pokémon Go’s Road to Unova event is the perfect way to prepare for this year’s tour

Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is almost here! The global event kicks off March 1st and 2nd, but the "Road to Unova" begins February 24th, offering a pre-event experience packed with bonuses.

This pre-event, similar to last year's tour, runs from February 24th to March 1st. Players can complete challenges, earn rewards, and prepare for the main event. Whether you prefer wild Pokémon encounters, raids, or special challenges, there's something for everyone.

A free Tour Pass is automatically provided. This pass features a progression track where completing tasks earns Tour Points and unlocks various bonuses. For an enhanced experience, a Deluxe Tour Pass (optional purchase) offers upgraded rewards, including a Victini encounter.

Shiny Pokémon enthusiasts will be thrilled! Shiny Meloetta makes its Pokémon Go debut via a Masterwork Research ticket ($4.99). This research has no expiration date, allowing completion at your own pace. Additional tickets offer event-exclusive bonuses like themed hatching or raid rewards, and even exclusive avatar items.

Here's a reminder to redeem your Pokémon Go codes for extra goodies!

During the Road to Unova, expect encounters with wild Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, and potentially their evolved forms. Raids will feature Pokémon like Genesect (various drives), Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion. Five-star raids offer a chance to catch Pokémon with special backgrounds inspired by Pokémon Black and White.

Download Pokémon Go now (it's free!) and prepare for the event. Visit the Pokémon Go Web Store to stock up on necessary resources beforehand.
