Pokémon TCG: Pocket Space-Time Smackdown Debuts

The Pokémon TCG Pocket game is set to receive a significant update with the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, following the success of the Genetic Apex set. This guide details the release date, card count, and some of the new cards featured.

Space-Time Smackdown Release Date in Pokémon TCG Pocket

The Space-Time Smackdown expansion launches in Pokémon TCG Pocket on January 30th, at 1:00 AM Eastern Time. While initial announcements suggested January 29th, the official Pokémon website and X account confirm the 30th, likely to accommodate various time zones.

Number of Booster Packs

Unlike Genetic Apex, which included three booster packs, Space-Time Smackdown will contain only two booster packs. These packs will feature Palkia and Dialga, suggesting a focus on Generation IV Pokémon (Diamond and Pearl). However, expect cards from other generations as well.
