Rivals Update 9 Introduces the Gunblade and Bridge Map as Nosniy Prepares to Add Ranked Mode

Roblox's Rivals FPS experience receives Update 9, introducing the Gunblade and Bridge map. Developer Nosniy Games focused this update on these two additions, foregoing bug fixes and balance changes for now.

The Gunblade is a unique weapon combining a rifle and a blade, offering tactical versatility. The new Bridge map, created by @GreatGuyBoom and set in Seoul, provides intense close-quarters combat in a concrete arena.

While this update is smaller in scope than previous ones, minor adjustments were made to the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins, and some weapon names were updated (Hexxed to Vexed). The developers emphasize that planned bug fixes, balance adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements will be included in the next major update, which will notably introduce the highly anticipated Ranked mode.

The team assures players that community feedback is being considered for the Ranked mode implementation. Previous updates, such as Update 7 (introducing the Energy Rifle, Energy Pistols, and Crossbow), demonstrate a consistent release schedule since the game's launch last May. NEW SPECIAL CHALLENGES:

• New challenges replace the Winter Spotlight, offering keys and the limited-time Bungeoppang charm for completion on the Bridge map.

OTHER:

• Minor modifications to Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins.
• Renamed weapons: Hexxed Flare Gun to Vexed Flare Gun, Hexxed Candle to Vexed Candle, and Hexxed wrap to Vexed.
