Exciting news for fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG)! The digital version, Pokémon TCG Pocket, is set to dazzle with the introduction of Shiny Pokémon in the upcoming Shining Revelry expansion. This update promises to bring a sparkle to your gameplay, literally, as The Pokémon Company has announced the arrival of these coveted Shiny versions.

When Are Shiny Pokémon Arriving in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, as that's when the Shining Revelry expansion will launch. This expansion is not just about Shinies; it's packed with over 110 new cards. You'll have the chance to pull Shiny versions of fan-favorites such as Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. What's more, the digital format will enhance the experience by making these cards shimmer when tilted. Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder.

Alongside the Shinies, Pokémon and Trainers from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will join the fray. Look out for cards featuring Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono. Additionally, from March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, offering you the opportunity to earn a deck ticket. Get ready for some competitive action as ranked matches are set to launch in Pokémon TCG Pocket. The inaugural season will start on March 28th and run through to April 27th, featuring the new cards from the Shining Revelry expansion. You'll be matched against players of similar skill levels, ensuring a fair and thrilling competition.
