How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Once you're free to roam the expansive world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing a personal bed becomes a top priority. During the Wedding Crashers quest, you have the option to align with either the blacksmith or the miller. Both paths, whether following Radovan or Kreyzl, will reward you with a place to sleep.

In my experience, choosing Radovan was advantageous due to his proximity in Tachov, near your starting location. By embarking on Radovan's questline and completing the smithing tutorial, you'll unlock a room right beside the forge where you can rest.

This bed will be designated as yours on the world map, and you'll also find an inventory chest in the room for storing your belongings. Whenever you need to heal up, simply return to this cozy spot for some much-needed rest.

Sleeping at Campsites

There will be moments when you're too far from your bed to make it back in time. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with numerous campsites along roadsides and in forests. Some might be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before using the facilities, while others may be vacant.

Once you discover a campsite, it will be marked on your map, allowing you to interact with the bedrolls for a nap. While these bedrolls offer less comfort than a proper bed, they're sufficient for a quick rest.

In dire situations, you can also use NPCs' beds, but be cautious; if caught, they might report you to the guards unless you can smooth-talk your way out of trouble.

That’s the rundown on how to get some rest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and tricks, including how to use a torch and the best perks to unlock first, be sure to visit The Escapist.
