Sunset Hills is the latest puzzle game on Android by Cottongame, the creative minds behind Reviver and Mr. Pumpkin Adventure. This new title continues their tradition of crafting games in enchanting, pastel-colored worlds filled with charming old city buildings, humanoid dogs, and heartwarming narratives.

Accompany Nico, a War Veteran, in His Journey

In Sunset Hills, you step into the shoes of Nico Grant, a novelist and former army veteran. Set in June 794, Nico embarks on a train journey to reconnect with his fellow ex-servicemen after a seven-year hiatus since the war's end. The friends he seeks to meet are Ferruccio, Doug, and Roy.

The game delicately unfolds Nico's emotional journey and past memories. As a child, Nico was introverted, more absorbed in books and his imagination than in social interactions. However, the war thrust him into a world where being small and different made him a target for bullying and isolation. Yet, Nico found solace and a coping mechanism through writing.

A small notebook became his sanctuary, and unexpectedly, it also bridged the gap between him and his squadmates. What began as playful teasing evolved into deep, lasting friendships that endured beyond the war. Now, as an adult and successful author, Nico's journey spans various cities and countries by train, where players join him in solving puzzles and reliving key moments of his life.

Sunset Hills Shows That Life after War Is Strange

Sunset Hills offers a rich point-and-click adventure where every dialogue can unveil crucial clues. Players will engage in activities such as gathering and combining items, solving puzzles that range from finding the right object to assisting others, solving minor crimes, or evading chases. Additionally, you'll have the chance to stitch clothes, bake bread, and even perform with a band.

The game's visual appeal lies in its blend of hand-drawn art and 3D scenes, with Victorian-inspired buildings that add to its charm. To get a glimpse of this beautiful world, check out the latest trailer below.
