Solve the Fountain of Confession Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: A Step-by-Step Guide

This guide details how to conquer the intricate Fountain of Confession puzzle within the Vatican section of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, unlocking the mystery of the giants. Remember to photograph all clues (statues, murals, inscriptions) for Adventure Points!

Accessing the Puzzle:

After escaping the Vatican's underground section and obtaining the scroll, use your journal's map to locate the Fountain of Confession in the courtyard.

Part 1: The Dragon Statues:

1. Retrieve the fountain key from the chest near the construction area.
2. Use the key to access the storage room.
3. Employ Indy's whip to rappel to the roof and swing to the fountain's top.
4. Swing to the second dragon statue and use its claw to activate a lever.
5. Rotate the statue to face the opposite dragon.
6. Repeat for the other statue (its claw will be missing).
7. Retrieve the fallen claw from the scaffolding.
8. Reattach the claw and rotate the statue to face its counterpart. This rotates the ground-level statue.

Part 2: The Wall Puzzles:

1. Use Indy's whip to pull the rotated statue, revealing a gate blocked by three statues and a lever.
2. Indy and Gina activate the lever, revealing the first wall puzzle (a baptism scene).
3. Position the male statue under the water bucket, activate the mechanism to fill it, and "baptize" the smaller statue. This moves the left-side gate statue.

4. Reactivate the lever to reveal the second puzzle (moving stone layers). Use the handles to guide the angel to the right side of the wall. This moves the right-side gate statue.

5. Finally, push the remaining central statue through the gate to activate the spiral stairway.
