Wingspan Asia Expansion Set to Launch This Summer

The world of Wingspan is expanding once again, this time bringing the birds of Asia to your digital sanctuary. The highly anticipated Wingspan: Asia Expansion is set to release later this year, offering players a chance to immerse themselves in the rich biodiversity of the East.

This expansion introduces a collection of new bird and bonus cards, stunning backgrounds, and beautifully illustrated player portraits inspired by the region. Whether you're drawn to the vibrant landscapes or the unique species, there's something for every bird enthusiast in this new addition.

One of the highlights of the Asia Expansion is the introduction of Duet Mode, a fresh two-player experience designed to add variety to your gameplay. In Duet Mode, you'll compete for habitat spaces using tokens on a special Duet Map, while striving to achieve unique end-of-round goals. This format encourages players to approach each session differently, ensuring every round feels fresh and engaging.

For solo players, the expansion includes two new bonus cards designed for Automa, adding depth to individual sessions. Whether you're competing against others or perfecting your approach alone, there's plenty to explore with the birds of Asia.

In addition to the new gameplay mechanics, you can expect to see a diverse set of birds, each with its own distinct powers and characteristics. These additions bring fresh opportunities to refine your approach and discover species from across Asia, making it perfect for avid birdwatchers.

The expansion also features 13 bonus cards, adding another layer of strategy as you build your sanctuary. With these new options, you'll find more ways to adapt your playstyle and experiment with different approaches.

To further enhance your experience, four new backgrounds transform your screen into a window to the East, while eight new player portraits reflect elements of local Asian cultures. Completing the immersive experience are four new music tracks composed by Pawel Górniak, adding to the relaxing ambiance of your gameplay.
