Use this convenient app to create and submit catch records for all English and Welsh under 10 metre (U10m) flag vessels that fish in UK waters. Ensuring accurate catch records is vital for sustainable fishing practices, and this app makes the process straightforward and efficient.

Who Needs to Record Their Catch?

All U10m flag vessels are required to record their catch. The data collected is crucial for UK fishing authorities to manage fishing levels sustainably, helping to preserve our marine resources for future generations.

Who Can Use This Service?

This service is available for:

• Registered Vessel Owners: You will receive an invite email to start using the service. The timing of the invite depends on your vessel size. You have one calendar month from receiving the email to register and begin using the service.
• Skippers: If you are a skipper, please contact the vessel owner to request an invite to the service.

Important Note for Producer Organisation Members

If you are a member of a producer organisation and lease quota, you should not use this online service to record your catch. Instead, continue using a paper logbook to document your catches.

What Does This Service Replace?

This new digital service replaces the following:

• The NEP1 form
• The MSAR1 form (Note: Depending on your location, local Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) might require additional information)
• The requirement to complete a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in 2 ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe)
