«Spite & Malice», sometimes called «Cat and Mouse» or «Screw Your Neighbor», is a traditional card game for two to four players. This game is a modern adaptation of the late 19th-century continental card game «Crapette» and represents a form of competitive solitaire with multiple variations playable using two or more standard decks. It is a derivative of «Russian Bank». The commercial edition of this game is sold under the name «Skip-Bo». Unlike the commercial version, «Spite & Malice» uses standard playing cards.

The goal of the game is to be the first player to successfully discard all cards from their personal deck in a properly sorted sequence, thereby winning the match.
