For a limited time, Amazon is offering the 7th generation Apple iPad Air M3 tablets at the lowest prices I've seen so far. The 11" model is now available for just $499, and the 13" model for $699, both after a $100 instant discount. This is the best price yet for the 2025 model equipped with the M3 chip, making it an excellent gift option for Mother's Day, which falls on May 11.

The 7th generation iPad Air, released in March, is the latest model. It's only a year newer than the 6th generation, with the primary upgrade being the transition from the M2 to the M3 chip. The M3 chip is about 20% faster than its predecessor and only about 20% slower than the iPad Pro's M4 chip. Beyond the chip, the iPad Air retains the stunning Ultra Retina XDR display, Wi-Fi 6E, and 5G cellular connectivity. It's compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (USB-C), and Magic Keyboard, transforming it into a versatile iOS hybrid laptop. Additionally, it supports Apple Intelligence.

In her review of the older 2024 model, Jacqueline Thomas described the iPad Air as "**The iPad for the rest of us**." She noted that for most users who need a tablet for gaming or watching movies, the iPad Air strikes the perfect balance.
