The 25 Best PC Games to Play Right Now

IGN's Top 25 Modern PC Games of 2025: A Curated Selection

2025 is here, and IGN's refreshed list of the 25 best modern PC games is ready. This isn't an objective ranking, but rather a collective recommendation from IGN's PC gaming team, using a weighted voting system. It reflects our shared enthusiasm and aims to inspire you to explore these titles if you haven't already. Many excellent games couldn't make the cut due to space limitations and diverse preferences.

This list focuses on games released or significantly updated since 2013. Classic titles like Doom (original), Half-Life 2, and others are considered all-time greats, deserving of separate recognition (see our Top 100 Games of All Time list).

Remember, this is our perspective. Share your own top 25 using our Playlist tool! Most recent game updates reflected as of February 13, 2025.
