Minecraft players eagerly await Java Snapshot updates, revealing upcoming additions. Snapshot 25w06a introduces three exciting chicken variants. This guide details their locations and how to collect them.

Finding the New Chicken Types:
Warm Chickens: These yellow and orange feathered birds reside in warmer biomes. Look in these locations: Badlands, Bamboo Jungle, Eroded Badlands, Jungle, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Sparse Jungle, Windswept Savanna, and Wooded Badlands.
Cold Chickens: Sporting blue feathers, Cold Chickens inhabit colder biomes: Old Growth Pine Taiga, Old Growth Spruce Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Taiga, Windswept Forest, Windswept Gravelly Hills, and Windswept Hills.
Temperate Chickens: These are the classic white chickens, now called Temperate Chickens. They appear in all biomes not listed above.
Taming and Breeding Chickens:
To gather your flock, utilize seeds. Chickens will follow you when you carry seeds, allowing you to guide them into a pen. Remember, transporting chickens, especially over long distances in Survival mode, can be challenging. Establish checkpoints along the way.
Breeding is straightforward: feed two chickens of the same type seeds to produce an egg of that type. For a surprise, feed seeds to two different types – the resulting egg will hatch a random variant.
