The LG Evo C3, a 2023 model, offers incredible value compared to the 2024 C4. The key difference is price ($650); picture quality remains virtually identical. The C4 upgrades include a better processor, newer WebOS, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

OLED technology reigns supreme in television, delivering superior image quality, deeper blacks, enhanced contrast, wider color gamut, and lightning-fast response times. This makes OLED TVs ideal for 4K HDR content. LG's OLED TVs, refined over many generations, are a testament to this technology.

Gamers will appreciate the C3's features: a native 120Hz panel, four HDMI 2.1 ports for 4K at 120Hz (PS5/Xbox Series X compatibility), VRR, ALLM, and DTS audio (for Blu-ray enthusiasts). Setup is simplified thanks to a lighter, composite fiber rear cabinet (36 pounds).

The LG Evo C-series is our top pick for high-end 4K TVs in 2025, balancing OLED brilliance with a host of features without exorbitant pricing. It surpasses the C2 with improved contrast and clarity, showcasing deep blacks and vibrant colors on the crisp 4K screen. Once you experience OLED, it's hard to go back!

Comparing the LG Evo C3 to the Upcoming C5

The unreleased LG Evo C5 (showcased at CES 2025) offers only incremental improvements. These minor upgrades aren't significant enough to justify waiting for its likely high initial retail price, which will take time to become competitive.
