65" LG Evo C4 4K OLED Smart TV Hits Record Low Price on Memorial Day

As part of its early Memorial Day Sale, Amazon has slashed the price on the 65" LG Evo C4 4K OLED TV, offering a deal that's hard to beat. Originally priced at $2,499.99, you can now purchase it for just $1,296.99, complete with free delivery. This represents a nearly 50% discount, making it the best offer available for the 2024 model. Compared to the upcoming 2025 65" LG Evo C5, which is priced at $1,000 more, this deal stands out as an exceptional value. The LG Evo C-series has been our top pick for high-end 4K TVs, especially for gaming on current-generation consoles, due to its stellar image quality, minimal input lag, and high refresh rate.

The 2024 model, the LG Evo C4, is part of LG's mid-range C-series OLED lineup. OLED TVs outshine non-OLED counterparts with superior image quality, near-infinite blacks, an unmatched contrast ratio, and near-instantaneous response times. These features make the Evo OLED TV perfect for displaying 4K HDR content in all its intended glory. The C4 utilizes LG's proprietary Evo panel, which boasts higher brightness levels and a better contrast ratio than traditional W-OLED TVs, akin to the QD OLED panels found in Samsung TVs. The LG brand's popularity is bolstered by years of development and optimization of its OLED technology.

The LG C4 is a dream for gamers, equipped with a native 120Hz panel that can be overclocked to 144Hz. All four HDMI ports are 2.1 spec, allowing for 4K gaming at up to 120fps on a PS5 or Xbox Series X without any tearing. Additionally, it supports variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM). Installation is simpler than with previous models, thanks to the rear cabinet's lightweight composite fiber, weighing in at just 36 pounds.

How does the 2024 C4 compare to the 2025 C5?

LG's new 2025 model, the C5, features an updated Alpha a9 Gen8 processor and a higher peak brightness level, which is the most notable upgrade. This improvement allows for a slightly better contrast ratio, a wider color gamut, enhanced glare and reflection handling, and better performance in bright rooms. However, these enhancements might be worth only a few hundred dollars, not justifying the $1,000 price difference.

The LG Evo C-series remains our top choice for high-end 4K TVs in 2025, thanks to its OLED display's brilliance and a suite of quality features that keep the price reasonable. The C4 offers superior contrast and clarity compared to the already impressive LG C2, making it a visual treat with its deep blacks and well-balanced colors on a crisp 4K screen. Once you experience OLED, it's tough to settle for less.
