Furyu Corporation Brings Trinity Trigger to Mobile

Japanese developer Furyu Corporation has released Trinity Trigger on Android, marking its mobile debut. Previously available on consoles and PC through Western publisher Xseed Games, this self-published mobile adaptation brings the beloved action RPG to handheld devices.

A Classic JRPG Adventure Awaits

Players assume the role of Cyan, a young man destined as the Warrior of Chaos opposing the Warrior of Order. Joined by companions Elise and Zantis, Cyan traverses the fantasy world of Trinitia alongside Triggers - shape-shifting creature companions that transform into eight distinct weapon types. The trio can be swapped dynamically during combat for strategic flexibility.

The narrative embraces classic JRPG elements:

  • A hero bound by fate
  • Mysteries of forgotten histories
  • A world balancing on chaos
Traditional gameplay features include:
  • Hub towns with interactive NPCs
  • Expansive dungeon exploration

Dynamic Combat and Exploration

The ingenious Weapon Wheel system drives combat, enabling instant weapon switches to target enemy vulnerabilities. Equipment upgrades utilize materials gathered throughout your journey.

Dungeons manifest as remnants of divine weapons called Arma, offering:

  • Challenging puzzles
  • Hidden secrets
  • Diverse environments from frosty tundras to scorching deserts

Production Values and Availability

The mobile version retains the console experience with:

  • Fully voiced dialogues
  • Cinematic cutscenes
  • Three playable characters
  • Nine weapons per character
  • Unique skill sets

Available now on Google Play Store for $19.99.
