Alien: Rogue Incursion Upgraded for PS5, PC; No Xbox Version Yet

Fans of the Alien franchise, get ready for an enhanced gaming experience! Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One is set to release an upgraded version, dubbed the Evolved Edition, which you can enjoy without a VR headset. Scheduled to launch on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025, this edition promises "even deadlier Xenomorphs and enhanced visuals." You can start wishlisting the non-VR version on Steam and PlayStation today.

Originally, Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One debuted on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024, followed by a release on Meta Quest 3 in February. Developed and published by Survios, the Evolved Edition will be available in a standard edition for $29.99, with a Digital Deluxe edition priced at $39.99.

Set in the gripping timeline between the iconic films Alien and Aliens, Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One plunges players into a thrilling mission on the planet Purdan (LV-354). Here, players join Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, in a desperate search for a former squadmate amidst a sudden Xenomorph attack at Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ eerie Castor’s Cradle research facility. Expect an adrenaline-pumping mix of action, horror, and mystery.

IGN's review of the VR version awarded it a 7/10, stating, "Alien: Rogue Incursion is a compelling first crack at bringing Alien to VR with lots of room to grow." The team behind the game will showcase the Evolved Edition at IGN Live next month, offering fans a fresh look at what's to come.
