The I/O panel is now at the top, and a full tempered glass side panel replaces the smaller cutout. Air intakes are repositioned to the bottom and front, eliminating side vents. Alienware’s positive airflow design prioritizes intake over exhaust for a cleaner interior. The system includes an updated motherboard, faster RAM, and a more robust power supply to support next-gen CPUs and GPUs.

GeForce RTX 5080 GPU Powers 4K Gaming Excellence

The RTX 5080 ranks as the second-most powerful Blackwell GPU, just behind the $2,000 RTX 5090. It delivers 5%-10% better performance than the discontinued RTX 4080 Super. Games leveraging DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation, exclusive to Blackwell GPUs, see even greater performance gains.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE Review, by Jacqueline Thomas

"For those with recent high-end GPUs, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 offers modest performance gains over the RTX 4080, but DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation enhances visuals in supported games. For gamers upgrading from older cards, the RTX 5080 delivers a substantial performance leap, especially for those embracing Nvidia’s AI-driven features."
