Craving popcorn straight from Galactus’ head? For those catching The Fantastic Four: First Steps in theaters, that dream is now reality. AMC Theatres has unveiled its Galactus popcorn bucket for the upcoming film, poised to become a coveted collector’s item.
Dubbed the “Giant Galactus Popcorn Vessel” by AMC Theatres, this 17-inch-tall bucket showcases the film’s villain, portrayed by Ralph Ineson of The Witch and Nosferatu fame, from the neck up. The bucket mirrors Galactus’ head, complete with vivid blue eyes and a shimmering purple helmet. Popcorn is served from the open top of the helmet, with each limited-edition bucket including a large popcorn, per the chain.

AMC is also offering a three-in-one snack holder tied to First Steps, designed after the H.E.R.B.I.E. robot from the film. Named the “H.E.R.B.I.E. Concessions Vessel,” it holds a large popcorn, a large drink, and candy, with multiple compartments built into H.E.R.B.I.E. for storage.

AMC has been making bold moves recently, from eye-catching popcorn buckets to expanding pre-show advertisements. The chain has partnered with National CineMedia to introduce a “platinum spot” featuring commercials alongside traditional movie trailers, starting July 1, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Both companies will split the revenue from this new venture.
AMC addressed the decision, noting initial hesitation but emphasizing financial upside. “Though we were cautious about introducing this to our theaters, competitors have done so for over five years with no clear impact on attendance,” the company told THR. “This suggests the NCM pre-show program doesn’t deter moviegoers.”
This week, Marvel dropped a new trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, spotlighting ticket sales and revealing baby Franklin Richards for the first time. The trailer includes familiar footage but offers a fresh glimpse of Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic and Sue Storm / Invisible Woman with their son, Franklin, in an intimate family moment.
Director Matt Shakman also addressed speculation about Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom appearing in the film, seemingly ruling it out. Still, fans remain convinced Doctor Doom might appear, possibly in a post-credits scene.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters on July 25, 2025.
