The standard iPad remains the top choice for most users, offering iOS functionality with responsive performance at an accessible price point. Released March 12, 2025, this model features significant upgrades including an A16 processor (versus A14), 6GB RAM (up from 4GB), and doubled base storage (128GB compared to 64GB). Remarkably, its $349 launch price undercuts the previous generation's $399 starting cost.
