Kai: Encountered early, Kai is a formidable ex-mercenary with a surprisingly tender side. A tank-like combatant, he inflicts significant damage and possesses fire abilities useful for removing obstacles and revealing hidden paths. His upgradeable abilities include:

• Fire and Ire (Active): A powerful blunderbuss shot that stuns and taunts a single enemy.
• Unbending Defense (Active): Regenerates health and boosts damage reduction.
• Leap of Daring (Active): A stunning, taunting leap attack affecting nearby enemies.
• Second Win (Passive): Revives Kai with 50% health upon death.

Marius: A skilled hunter and tracker, Marius joins your party in Dawnshore. His abilities reflect his expertise, offering both combat prowess and tracking skills to aid in locating loot and crafting materials. His upgradeable abilities include:

• Binding Roots (Active): Roots an enemy in place.
• Heart Seeker (Active): A piercing shot that ignores obstacles.
• Shadow Step (Active): A triple-strike attack from stealth.
• Wounding Shots (Passive): Attacks inflict bleeding.

Giatta: Found in the Emerald Stair region, Giatta is an animancer whose magic provides crucial support in combat. While not a high-damage dealer, her healing, shielding, and buffing capabilities are invaluable. Her unique ability, Spectral Jolt, activates Essence Generators. Her upgradeable abilities include:
