Among Us is an engaging social deduction game where players work together while secretly some try to sabotage the mission. Developed by Innersloth, this space-themed party game pits Crewmates against Impostors in a battle of wits and deception. Whether playing with friends or joining public matches, this guide will help new players grasp core mechanics and strategies.

Be a Crew Member or Impostor

Among Us supports 4-15 players across five unique maps including The Skeld, Polus, MIRA HQ, The Airship, and Fungle. Players receive one of two secret roles at random:

Crewmates: Your objective is completing ship maintenance tasks while identifying and voting out Impostors.

Impostors: Your goal is to sabotage operations and eliminate Crewmates covertly without being detected.

The game concludes when Crewmates complete all tasks or eliminate all Impostors through voting, or when Impostors eliminate enough Crewmates to gain control.

Emergency Meetings

This critical game mechanic allows players to initiate discussions about suspicious behavior. Either Crewmates wanting to share findings or Impostors aiming to spread misinformation can call emergency meetings by pressing the central red button in the cafeteria.

When triggered, all living players gather to debate and vote on ejection decisions. These meetings test players' observational skills and ability to construct convincing arguments. Players can enhance their experience by playing on PC via BlueStacks for better controls and visibility.
