Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remake Tomorrow

After months of swirling rumors and leaks, Bethesda is poised to officially unveil the much-anticipated remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion tomorrow. The announcement is scheduled for 8am PT/11am ET and will be broadcasted live on both YouTube and Twitch.

In a recent tweet, Bethesda subtly hinted at the nature of the announcement with a prominent "IV" and a background that unmistakably resembles iconic art from Oblivion. This has fueled speculation that the long-rumored remake is finally coming to fruition.

The journey to this point has been filled with tantalizing leaks. The first hint came from a leaked 2020 Bethesda release schedule during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which suggested an Oblivion remaster was on the cards for fiscal year 2022. Although the document's age and missed release window led some to believe the project might have been abandoned, a January leak this year reignited hope by describing it as a comprehensive remake, developed in collaboration with Virtuos. The excitement reached new heights just last week when further leaks from Virtuos' website surfaced, showcasing the remake in action.

If these recent leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Fans can also look forward to a Deluxe Edition, which will include the iconic horse armor alongside the standard version.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow to catch the official confirmation and discover more about what this remake has in store.
