Cavill's surge in popularity is undeniable, fueled by fervent Bond fans eager to see the Superman and Witcher star succeed Daniel Craig. His involvement in Amazon's Warhammer 40,000 project fuels speculation about a potential Bond role.

Interestingly, Cavill auditioned for 2006's Casino Royale, an audition Casino Royale director Martin Campbell deemed "tremendous." However, at 23, he was considered too young.
