First Bird Pokémon Arrives in Pokémon GO at Catch Mastery Event!

Pokémon GO enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to with a series of exciting events on the horizon. The game is already buzzing with the Festival of Colors and the Might and Mastery event, and now, the Catch Mastery event is set to add even more thrill to your gameplay experience.

Catch Mastery Brings the First Birdie for Pokémon GO!

Mark your calendars for March 16th, as the Catch Mastery event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. This event spotlights Archen, the First Bird Pokémon. During the event, you'll encounter wild spawns of Omanyte and Kabuto, with the possibility of catching their Shiny versions.

Archen will also be available as a reward for completing Field Research tasks, with an enhanced chance of encountering its Shiny form. To sweeten the deal, the event offers XP bonuses, doubling the XP earned from Nice Throws or better, and also from Curveball Throws.

Additionally, a Timed Research challenge focused on catching Rock-type Pokémon will be available. Completing up to 10 sets of tasks could lead to a whopping 40 encounters with Archen, making it an event you won't want to miss.

The Mega Absol Raid Day Is also Happening Soon

Following closely, the Mega Absol Raid Day is scheduled for March 23rd, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. During this event, Absol will gain a new Charged Attack called Brutal Swing. Once introduced, this move will remain a permanent part of Absol's arsenal, delivering 55 power in Trainer Battles and 65 power in gyms and raids.

To enhance your raiding experience, from March 22nd at 5:00 p.m. PDT to March 23rd at 8:00 p.m. PDT, the limit on Remote Raid Passes will be increased to 20. Furthermore, you'll have the opportunity to collect up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, bringing your daily total to six.

If you're yet to dive into the world of Pokémon GO, you can download it from the Google Play Store and join the millions of trainers already enjoying the game.
