Building a camp isn’t just about resting—it’s a great opportunity to bond with your friends and prepare for upcoming challenges. But it can be confusing to figure out where and when you can pitch your tent. Fear not, because here’s everything you need to know about camping in *Atelier Yumia*.

Before you can start camping, you’ll need to unlock the ability to create a Camping Set. This happens after clearing the manabound Dux Lighthouse—the first manabound area Yumia will explore during the story. Once you’ve built a base on the newly revealed land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and chat with Erhard to unlock this feature. Crafting a Camping Set is simple—you’ll need:

• 5% Energy
• 3 Wood
• 2 Water
• 5 Fiber
• 2 Charcoal

All these materials are easily found around the Ligneus Survey Base. For instance, Water can be collected from wells scattered across the region or picked up by gathering plants along riverbanks (which also yields Fiber). Charcoal is a handy byproduct of mining ore.

Once you’ve gathered the necessary resources, head to the Simple Synthesis menu. Ensure you have enough room—a 4×4 space is required—or your Camping Set will end up stored in your stash at the Atelier or one of your bases.

To check if you can camp in a specific location, pull up the radial menu while holding a Camping Set in your Exploration Bag. If the Camping option in the bottom-right corner is highlighted, you’re good to go. Otherwise, keep moving until you find a viable spot.
