Monster Hunter Wilds is set to receive its first Title Update tomorrow, introducing new quests that encourage players to compete for the fastest clear times. In anticipation of this update, Capcom has issued a strong statement against cheating, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining a fair and enjoyable gaming environment.

In a recent post on their X/Twitter account, Capcom warned players: "To ensure a fun and fair experience for our players, we will take action against accounts participating in fraudulent ranking activity, such as the use of cheating or external tools. Accounts found in violation may face suspension or restrictions, including the inability to receive rewards from these quests." This stern warning underscores Capcom's zero-tolerance policy towards cheating.

Moreover, Capcom highlighted that players engaging in multiplayer hunts with cheaters risk having their quest completion times invalidated, and the entire party could lose the right to rewards. The company advised players to be cautious and avoid multiplayer sessions with individuals suspected of cheating. They also encouraged reporting any instances of fraudulent activity encountered during quests.

The new quests will offer appealing rewards in the form of cosmetic pendants. Some pendants will be awarded to all participants, while others will be based on Completion Time or the hunter's ranking. This makes Capcom's crackdown on cheating even more crucial, as it directly impacts the rewards and completion times of these competitive quests.

These Time-Based Competition Quests will be accessible through the new Arena Quest Counter located in the Grand Hub in Suja, available after completing a special tutorial mission. Players are encouraged to prioritize unlocking the Grand Hub once Title Update 1 launches tomorrow in Monster Hunter Wilds.
