The new year of *Pokemon GO* has been exciting for trainers, with the introduction of new Pokemon to collect. Following the addition of Fidough, Shroodle is set to make its debut in the game, but like many recent additions, it won't be available as a wild spawn.
Shroodle, the Toxic Mouse Pokemon, was introduced to *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally from *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, Shroodle is a fresh addition to the Pokemon universe. After its debut, trainers will have ongoing opportunities to add Shroodle to their collections.
At its initial release, Shroodle will not be available in its Shiny form in *Pokemon GO*. Trainers can look forward to its Shiny version in future events, possibly tied to Poison-type Pokemon or Team GO Rocket themes.

Since Shroodle is exclusively available through 12KM eggs, understanding how to obtain these eggs is crucial. In *Pokemon GO*, 12KM eggs are rare and can only be obtained by defeating one of the Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni. The Taken Over event offers a prime opportunity to gather these eggs, as Team GO Rocket will be more active and Rocket Radars more accessible. You can challenge GO Rocket Grunts to battle Sierra, Arlo, or Cliff at any time, earning a 12KM egg if you have the inventory space.

*Pokemon GO is available to play now*.
