Unlocking characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* involves collecting items known as Prototype Analyzers, which are essential for accessing new characters, except for the DLC characters that require payment. Our comprehensive *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* character unlock guide will walk you through the process of obtaining Prototype Analyzers and provide a detailed list of all playable characters.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Unlock Characters

The player character and janitor look into an abyss in BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Your journey to unlock characters begins right after completing the tutorial, where you receive your first Prototype Analyzer. Follow the path to the right out of the Acer Program room, and you'll find yourself in a room with a glowing platform. Interact with this platform to access the character selection menu and choose your desired character.

For subsequent unlocks, return to this room and use the platform with additional Prototype Analyzers. Note that DLC characters, such as Rachel and Hazama (available as of March 2025), are automatically unlocked upon purchasing and installing their respective character packs.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Get More Prototype Analyzers

*Entropy Effect* offers several methods to acquire more Prototype Analyzers, each requiring patience and dedication.

Progress the Story

As you advance through the game's story and complete training missions, you'll unlock gray skills. Reaching specific milestones in this progression rewards you with Prototype Analyzers:

  • Unlocking 10 gray skills
  • Unlocking 20 gray skills
  • Unlocking 40 gray skills

Additionally, completing a significant event later in the story grants you another Prototype Analyzer. However, unlocking green skills through Potential does not yield these items. Unless developer 91Act introduces more skills or alternative methods, you can only obtain three Prototype Analyzers through story progression.

Complete Mind Challenges and Spend AP

Another avenue for acquiring Prototype Analyzers is through the Mind Challenge mode. By earning Action Points (AP) and speaking with the janitor, you can exchange 5,000 AP for a single Prototype Analyzer. This method, while effective, is not frequent due to the high AP cost.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: All Characters

As of March 2025, *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* features 12 characters, with 10 available in the base game and 2 as paid DLC. Here's a rundown of each character and how to unlock them using Prototype Analyzers:

Ragna the Bloodedge

Ragna from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Ragna is a melee fighter with a unique twist. He excels in close-range combat and gains power as his HP decreases. His special ability allows him to sacrifice health for buffs and then regain some of it by attacking enemies.

Jin Kisaragi

Jin from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Jin is another melee specialist, focusing on swordplay and ice-based skills. He can freeze opponents and, with well-timed combos, boost his strength and speed, making him a formidable opponent.

Noel Vermillion

Noel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Noel stands out with her ranged combat abilities. She can launch missiles in any direction and has a unique skill that reduces cooldown times. Her Over-Exhaust ability allows her to continue using skills even when her MP is depleted.

Taokaka

Taokaka from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

While Taokaka may struggle against heavily armored foes, her versatility in build options compensates for this. Her Spinny Spinny attack can apply multiple hits and status effects, making her adaptable to various playstyles.

Hakumen

Hakumen from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hakumen embodies the tank archetype, with slow but powerful attacks and high durability. He can counter incoming attacks at a reduced MP cost and can be equipped with a midair attack to handle diverse enemy types.

Lambda-11

Lamda-11 from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Lambda-11 excels in both close and long-range combat. Her skills continue to damage enemies even when she's not directly attacking, making her a versatile and powerful character.

Kokonoe

Kokonoe from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Kokonoe is often considered one of the weaker characters due to her reliance on managing lasers and crowd control effects. However, with the right damage-over-time build, she can be highly effective.

Hibiki Kohaku

Hibiki from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hibiki excels at evasion and crowd control, making him ideal for keeping enemies at bay. While not the most powerful, his ability to avoid damage is a significant advantage.

Es

Es from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Es is a powerhouse even without unlocking potentials. She can counter after dodging, perform mid-air combos, and has crowd-control abilities, making her a well-rounded character.

Mai Nastume

Mai from BlazBlue Entropy effect

Mai has a high skill ceiling and can be challenging to master. Her Heavy Attack is a key feature, but her true strength lies in chaining combos for maximum damage and mobility.

Rachel Alucard

Rachel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Rachel is exceptionally powerful, with fast movement and the ability to reset her dodge moves. Her wide-ranging abilities can stun enemies, making her a top choice for players.

Hazama

Hazama from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hazama requires strategic play due to his complex moves. Mastering his skills can be challenging, but once achieved, he becomes one of the game's strongest characters.
