Unlocking the Secrets of the Intimidating Feline Codpiece Map in Avowed

Avowed's treasure maps offer exciting rewards for intrepid explorers. This guide focuses on the Intimidating Feline Codpiece Map, one of the earliest you'll encounter. Let's delve into its acquisition and the treasure it unveils.

Where to Find the Map

Upon reaching the Living Lands and interacting with Garryck and possibly Ilora, you'll meet a group of merchants. Lynna, one of these vendors, sells the "Treasure Map – Intimidating Feline Codpiece" for 115 gold. Once purchased, the map is accessible within the Documents section of your in-game journal, under the Paradis entry. The map's intriguing lore hints at the treasure's origins.

Locating the Treasure

The map leads you east of Paradis and north of the Southern Embrace, near the Gods’ Gate Beacon. Exercise caution when approaching the Yellowband Camp; engaging them might prove challenging if under-leveled. Circumvent the camp along its southern and eastern borders. At a road fork, veer right.

You'll discover a boarded-up area. Break down the boards to reveal a chest to your left.

The Rewards

The chest contains the Stelgaer’s Pride armor, along with additional loot: Golden Scelling (6), Silver Fenning (8), a Common Arquebus, Bear Claw, Pelt (2), and Softwood Branch (2).
