Crashlands 2 has finally landed on Android and various other platforms, bringing back the beloved Butterscotch Shenanigans with an eagerly awaited sequel. The original Crashlands, launched in 2016, was their breakthrough hit, attracting millions of players worldwide.
In Crashlands 2, you reprise your role as the space-trucker Flux Dabes, the same irked shipping representative from the first game. This time, Flux returns to the planet Woanope seeking respite from the grind of working for the Bureau of Shipping.
Upon landing, a surprise explosion greets Flux, stranding him in a new, unfamiliar area, far from familiar faces. Armed only with a handful of gadgets and his peculiar instincts, Flux must navigate this new challenge. Woanope now feels more vibrant and alive, teeming with creatures and unique biomes that offer random encounters and chances to trick a Trunkle into a trap-laden field.
All characters in Crashlands 2, aside from Flux, are either aliens or robots, and the game's items are named with playful puns or whimsical nonsense, amplifying the humor from its predecessor. Combat mechanics have been enhanced, and base-building is now more intricate, featuring towering walls, authentic roofs, and snug nooks for crafting and farming.
Building relationships with aliens unlocks new recipes and skills, making the friendship mechanic a vital part of your adventure. Additionally, you can now raise pets by discovering eggs, learning how to hatch them, nurturing them, and having them join you in battle.
Crashlands 2 isn't just about surviving an unexpected orbital mishap; there's a deeper mystery at play. As you explore the world and interact with its inhabitants, you'll uncover the truth behind the chaos and identify the culprits.
If you enjoyed the first game and are eager to dive into this sequel, you can download Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store.
