Crashlands 2 has just received a significant update with version 1.1, courtesy of Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update introduces features and challenges that many fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly waiting for.
The highlight of this update is the introduction of Legend Mode, which offers a higher difficulty level than the existing Challenge Mode. Enemies on Woanope are now faster, deal more damage, and boast increased health points, making for a more intense gameplay experience. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile, adding to the strategic challenge. While there are no new achievements for conquering Legend Mode, successfully completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels.
On the opposite end, Explorer Mode has been added for players who prefer a more relaxed experience. This mode is perfect for those who want to focus on activities like farming mushrooms, building a cozy home, and fishing without the threat of aggressive combat. It allows players to immerse themselves in the rich storyline, decorate their base, and interact with the game's unique characters at a leisurely pace.
A major addition is the return of The Compendium, responding directly to player feedback since the game's launch. The Compendium meticulously tracks all of Flux's discoveries, helping players keep tabs on the number of pets, recipes, and items they need to collect to achieve their goals.
With Crashlands 2's Update 1.1, pets are no longer just cute companions. They now actively participate in combat, each possessing a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, enhancing the gameplay dynamics.
Gear crafting has seen an overhaul, introducing more variety with random bonus stats on armor. Additionally, the update brings a range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to explore.
Quality of life improvements permeate this update. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the level of darkness during nighttime, enhancing the overall user experience.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store, having launched on April 10th. This patch is a testament to Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening and responding to player feedback.
