"Crusader Kings III Chapter IV: Mongol and Asian Expansion Unveiled"

Paradox Interactive has unveiled an exciting roadmap for Crusader Kings III's upcoming content in 2025, branded as Chapter IV. This chapter focuses on expanding the game's scope into Asia, introducing new mechanics and regions for players to explore and conquer.

The journey begins with the recently released cosmetic DLC, Crowns of the World. This elegant pack includes six crowns, four hairstyles, and two beards, allowing players to further customize their rulers and add a personal touch to their monarchs.

On April 28, the first major DLC, Khans of the Steppe, will launch, enabling players to take on the role of the Mongols. As the Great Khan, you'll lead a nomadic horde, expanding your empire and asserting dominance over neighboring regions. This expansion promises thrilling conquests and strategic challenges.

Following Khans of the Steppe, the Coronations DLC will introduce a new ceremonial mechanic. Players can legitimize their reign through grand coronation events, which include hosting lavish festivities, making solemn vows, and choosing the future direction of their kingdom. This Q3 (July–September) release will also feature new advisor and vassal events, enriching the political landscape and adding depth to royal succession.

Chapter IV will culminate with the expansive All Under Heaven DLC, set to release later in the year. This major expansion will introduce the entire East Asian map, featuring detailed representations of China, Korea, Japan, and the Indonesian islands. Players will have vast new territories to explore, conquer, and manage, opening up a wealth of new strategic opportunities.

Throughout the year, Paradox will also release patches to enhance game systems and AI behavior, ensuring a smoother and more engaging experience. The developers are eager to incorporate player feedback, with the next Q&A session scheduled for March 26. This ongoing dialogue with the community will help shape the future of Crusader Kings III and ensure that Chapter IV meets the expectations of its dedicated fanbase.
